2. 句型講解
(1) i』d like to...
表示說話人的主觀願望「我想要……』』，如：i』d like to h**e a room. 我需要一間房。
教師可鼓勵學生運用i』d like to…說句子，如：i』d like to sing/dance/sleep / go to the cinema / …
(2) where are you from?
i』m from…
這是一組問答句型，可用來談論某人的家鄉在何處，也可就近談論某人剛才從**來。如：
—where are you from?
—i』m from france.
—where are you from?
—i』m from the teachers』 office.
(3) welcome to our hotel!
welcome to +某處是乙個禮貌用語，用來表示對客人到訪的歡迎。 教師可引導學生運用該句型多說多練，如：
welcome to china! welcome to xi』an! welcome to our school!
(4) h**e a good time!
這是乙個表示良好祝願的句子，常表示說話人希望即將出行或到某處遊玩、參加某種娛樂活動的人玩得高興，這裡的good可以更換為其他形容詞，類似的句子有：h**e a nice time / day!等。
教師可以假設情景供學生學習運用：
(1) t: i』m going to a party.(並引導學生回應）
t&ss: h**e a good / nice time!
(2) t: i』m from australia. i come to visit xi』an.(並引導學生回應)

3. 鞏固活動
1. 聽讀練習
(1) 教師出示本部分的掛圖，並**錄音，讓學生模仿其語音語調跟讀 let』s talk部分的對話。
(2) 教師提出問題，然後再次**錄音，讓學生結合掛圖和錄音內容作答，具體問題可參考如下：
question 1: who are talking?
question 2: where is the girl?
question 3: what』s her name?
question 4: what would she like to do?
question 5: where is the girl from?
2. 角色扮演
教師在多**上出示酒店的**，先引領學生進行重點句型的操練，再操練對話。教師先來表演服務員，請學生來表演海倫，之後再幫助學生獨立操練對話。教師也可採用同桌兩人一組演練對話的形式，每組先練習35分鐘，教師巡視並進行個別指導，到時間後隨機選出幾組學生上台戴上頭飾表演對話。
教師注意鼓勵學生自主創新對話，並評出最佳創意獎。
iii. 操練活動的設計與實施建議(practice activities)
1. 猜一猜
遊戲準備：美國、英國、法國、澳大利亞、中國的國旗圖示。
遊戲玩法：教師選出四名學生，每位學生抽取乙個國旗標誌（注意不要讓其他同學看到），把它放在身後，然後用漢語介紹該國的特點，讓其他同學猜：where is he / she from?
猜的學生也可以問is he / she from…?猜對的學生可以得到乙個自己喜歡的國家標誌。然後全班同學跟這位得到標誌的同學問答：
where are you from? i』m from ...
2. part c read, choose and complete
(1) 教師講解本部分的習作要求，即：讀一讀，選擇合適的句子補全對話。
(2) 教師引領學生通讀對話及方框中的備選句，然後請學生自行完成本部習作。
(3) 教師隨機挑選幾組學生進行對話表演，核對答案。
