第一課時

一、 教學內容: 6b,unit 5,b部分look,read and learn.

二、教學目標:1 學習b部分,學生會讀和拼寫spring,summer,autumn,winter。

2掌握三會單詞warm, cool ,sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy, foggy, snowy .

三、教學重點:1學習b部分,套用舊句型,以舊帶新。

2掌握四會單詞和複習舊句型。

四、教學難點靈活運用所學句型進行交際。

五、課前準備:1 準備錄音機和第五單元的磁帶。

2 課前寫好本課的課題6b. unit 5 b部分look, read and learn.

3 一些季節和天氣的**。

六、教學過程:

talk.

t: what date is it today? s: it's the ...

t: what'sthe weather like today? s: it's ...

step2. presentation and practice

teach snowy, windy, foggy, rainy,cloudy, sunny,cool,warm.

t: look at the picture, it's snowy.讓一排學生讀。

t: can you tell me which city is often snowy in china?

s:(引導學生說) ... is often snowy.

t: look at these weather pictures and work in groups。

採取的步驟是,先是組內交流,後是組間交流,最後由組長提問

把全班不知道的單詞解決。教學思想是盡量發揮學生的作用,讓學生教學生,教師僅僅是指導者,參與者,組織者。

step3. consolidation.

1. 小組內快速記憶,互相幫助。

2. 單詞接龍,無錯誤的小組積分。

3. 知識竟猜,which city is foggy city? which city is snowy

city? which city is windy city?( answers: london, beijing)

4. see quickly.老師拿出兩幅天氣的**,快速在學生眼前閃過,讓學生猜。猜對小組積分。

step4. presentation and practice

teach spring, summer, autumn, winter.

t: how many months are there in a year?s: there are twelve.

t: how many days are there in a year? s: there are 365.

t: how many seasons are there in a year? 師自問自答,there are four.

在學生理解season的含義後,問what seasons do y ou know? 讓學生自由說,說對小組積分。

小組競賽活動如下:

1. 一位學生先說季節,另一位學生說季節特徵。如:spring

和warm。

2.一位學生形容季節,另一位學生說是哪乙個季節。如:

the house is white. the tree and grass are white.

everything is white.

3. 一位學生來到講台上,老師拿出一幅圖其他學生說出季節,

這位學生做有關這個季節的動作。

step6. play a game.

拿出準備好的**,每組出一人,組成乙個新的小組,每人四張,第乙個學生說出圖的內容,下乙個學生如果有與之相配的圖說出並仍下,第乙個手中無圖的學生為勝者,並為原小組積分。

3 一些季節和天氣的**。

4 一些著名中外城市的**,最好有明顯的季節體現。

六、教學過程:

step2. free talk. the topic is "weather".

t: what's the weather like in spring in lan yungang? s: it's warm.

讓學生自由談論一些城市的氣候。

1. teach "because"

t: i'm wearing three sweaters. because it's cold.

i'm drinking some water. because it's hot.

在學生理解because的涵義後,讓學生用because造句。

2. teach i like ... best. because it's... i can...

t: i like winter best. because it's snowy. i canmake a snowman.

學生以小組為單位,表達自己喜歡哪個季節,並說明原因。

3.操練對話which season do you like best?

i like.. why? because it's ... i can... 例如:

t: which season do you like best? s:

i like summer. because it's hot. i can swim in the sea.

step 4while-task

任務一,do a survey. 調查並填空,做乙個小記者完成下列**:培養學生於他人共處的合作精神和參與意識

任務二,look and say觀察並描述,培養學生的觀察力和根據情況靈活運用英語的能力。 採取的活動如下:

讓四幅圖分別在學生眼前停留五秒鐘,師問:what season does d**id like? why? 然後分別由三位學生問,其它學生搶答,回答正確的學生給小組積分。

step5 post-task

根據所提供資訊,彙總哪些人喜歡哪些季節,並說出原因。

六、教學過程:

先讓一位學生站起來面對大家,教師出示一幅天氣的**,其他學生

問what's the weather like today?這位學生回答,正確給小組積分。

2看一段天氣預報的電視錄象,回答問題,正確給小組積分。例如:s1:

what's the weather like in chong qing? s2:it's sunny.

3.看圖回答問題,用電腦做出下列課件:第一幅圖是紐約的**。問題:what city is it?

第二幅圖是紐約秋季大風的**。問題:what's the weather like in autumn in new york?

第三幅圖是紐約的人們在秋季的活動。問題:what do the americans usually do in autumn?

第四幅圖是紐約冬季孩子們堆雪人的**。問題:what do the childrenusually do in winter in new york?

step3 consolidation

聽a部分兩遍,小組內根據所聽內容把下列句子排序並讀出,同時解決countryside這個單詞。

1. new york is very beautiful in spring.

2. ben likes ****** snowmen in new york.

3. new york is usually very hot in summer.

4. su yang's father is going to new york.

5. people in new york like to go to farms in the countryside.

and answer the questions

1以小組為單位自己讀課文,注意語法現象,讀過後小組內討論解決,解決不了的在自由提問時間由老師或其他學生解決。為幫助學生有一定的針對性,老師出示以下問題:
