二、語法學習
（一）形容詞的比較級和最高端的構成
1. 規則變化：
（1）一般在詞尾加—er或—est.如：fresh—fresher—freshest.
（2）以字母e結尾的形容詞，加r或st,如：late—later—latest.
（3）以重讀閉音節結尾的詞，詞尾只有乙個子音字母時，應雙寫這一子音字母，再加er或est.如：big—bigger—biggest.
（4）以子音字母＋y結尾的雙音節詞，先改y為i，再加er 或est.如：happy—happier—happiest.
（5）部分雙音節詞和多音節詞前面加more或most構成比較級或最高端。careful—more careful—most careful,
beautiful—more eautiful—most beautiful.
２.不規則變化：
good/well—better—best, little—less—least,
many/much—more—most, bad/ill—worse—worst,
far—farther/further—farthest/furthest.
（二）形容詞的比較級和最高端的用法
1. 比較級ａ＜ｂ或ａ＞ｂ，經常與than搭配，或給出比較的二個內容。可用much，even和a little修飾．
2. 三者或三者以上比較用最高端，一般給出比較範圍．如：of（in）＋…。
(1)例句：①i』m happier than you. 我比你更快樂。
②plants are much more beautiful than animals.
(２)例句：①the boy is the tallest in my class. 這個男孩是我們班最高的。
②lesson two is the most important of all.

二.語法學習
be sure結構表示肯定和不肯定。be sure一般用來表示肯定，be not sure（whether/if）表示不肯定。
be sure後面可以跟不定式和賓語從句。跟不定式一般譯為「一定……」，跟賓語從句，譯為「確信……」。如：
we are sure to repair the tv well. 我們一定修好這台電視機。
i』m sure you can finish your work. 我確信你能完成你的工作。
are you sure whether（if）he switched the computer on? 你確信他開啟還是沒有開啟電腦？
