第一課時section a 1a — grammar focus
you (please) do sth.? 表示委婉（禮貌）地請求對方做某事，意思是「請你幹某事好嗎？」，
其肯定回答可用yes, sure. / certainly./of course.
否定回答可用sorry, i can』t./sorry, i』m afraid not. i h**e to …等。
這種句型的否定結構是在please後加not。（如：could you please not stand here ?）
這類句型還有：would you (please) (not) do sth.? will you(please) (not) do sth.?
2. could i /we do sth.? 表示請求得到對方的許可,意思是「我/我們可以幹某事嗎?」
這種問句無論肯定回答還是否定回答都避免用could，
肯定回答常用yes, you can./sure. …;否定回答常用sorry./no, you can』t.
需要；必須」，名詞和動詞。作動詞時有兩種用法：
①行為動詞，其後常跟名詞或動詞不定式作賓語。（如：i need help. i need to go there.）
②情態動詞，常用於否定句和疑問句。（如：he needn』t go. need she go?）
注意： 以must引起的一般疑問句否定回答要用 needn』t。（如：must i do it? no, you needn』t.）

1. do和make的最常見用法區別:它們都有「做」的意思。
① 不確定指什麼活動時，用do。（如：do something! 做點什麼吧！）
② make側重於「製造；創造」，而do側重於「進行某種活動；完成；做到」。（如：make a model plane 做個飛機模型，do homework）
③ 談及工作時一般用do。（如：do a good job 搞好工作）
④ 記住一些固定用法：do: do the dishes洗餐具, do chores幹家務, do the laundry洗衣服, do homework (housework, exercise)做作業（家務，練習），do some reading讀書， do one』s best 盡力，do a good job 搞好工作等。
make: make the bed鋪床, make breakfast做早餐, make friends交朋友, make tea 泡茶, make money賺錢等。
2. hate doing(指長時間); hate to do（指某一次），都意為「不喜歡（不願）幹某事」。
3. borrow 「借（入）」; lend「借（出）」，借多長時間要用h**e/keep。常用句型：
borrow sth. from sb.從某人處借來某物; lend sb.
sth.= lend sth. to sb.
把某物借給某人。
4. invite sb. to do sth.「邀請某人幹某事」 invite sb. to+地點「邀請某人到某處」。
