一般現在時表示經常性習慣性的動作
【知識講解】
一．構成
1）我們每天都在這個教室上課。（一般現在時）
we h**e a class in the classroom everyday.
2) 我們正在教室上課。（現在進行時）
we are h**ing a class in the classroom now .
be(am\is\are)+現在分詞） (are h**ing) (are playing)
（1）一般在動詞後加「ing」 例： read—reading
（2）以不發音的「e」結尾的動詞，去「e」加「ing」例：write--writing
（3）以重讀閉音節結尾的並且末尾只有乙個子音字母，雙寫這個子音字母
再加「ing」例： put—putting be』gin 』listen pull
（4）以「ie」結尾的動詞去改「ie」為「y」再加「ing」，例：lie—lying
*動詞變現在分詞有如下口訣:「一添一去y不變」. 「一添」指雙寫規則；「一去」指去掉不發音字母e規則；「y不變」指要與名詞變複數區分開。

二．用法：
1.表示現在（說話瞬間）正在進行或發生的動作。
常與now, at present, at the moment, look, listen 等詞連用。
look! the children are playing football over there.
i am reading a book now.
listen！he is playing the piano.
it』s 7：00 greens are watching tv.

2.當前一段時間內或現階段正在進行的動作。
we are planting trees these days.（臨時性的工作）
is writing another novel.（說話時並未在寫，只處於寫作的狀態。）
3.位移動詞用現在進行時表將來。例如start begin come go…
例如：i'm coming.我就來了。
4.現在進行時和always連用表示一定的感**彩，帶有抱怨和責備。
例如：you』re always getting up late.
5.常與表示漸變的動詞連用。例如： get，grow，become，turn，begin等。
例如：the le**es are turning red.
