一、教材分析
本節課的教學內容選自新標準英語（三年級起點）四年級上冊module4unit2。在上一單元掌握thereis…的基礎上，本節課要求學生在掌握的基礎上，繼續學習there are……,會唱本課的歌謠。本課語言點在年段知識體系中有重要的地位。
二、學情分析
四年級學生活潑好動，對英語有著強烈的好奇心，幾乎都能積極參與到英語的課堂當中來。本單元目標在於引導學生對前一單元的知識進行系統的歸納和訓練，在教學中要盡量使用直觀教具，盡量創造英語環境，培養學生良好的語言習慣。

全體學生能運用there are twelve boys on the bike.這類語句來描述**或**圖畫場景。

1、全體學生能理解詞彙fruit、chicken、bear、pig。
2、全體學生能運用詞彙there are，chicken, pig。

激發學生主動學習的願望和熱情。

（一）複習匯入warm-up and lead in
1. greeting
2. chant
3.出示**，學生用there is……in the photo .he』s / she』s/ it』s v-ing.
4.教師出示乙個全景**，全班學生一起描述**。
（二）任務呈現task presentation
do you remember our old friends lingling，sam, amy and daming? what are they doing? 他們正興高采烈地**表演呢。
what do they see？let』s h**e a look.
**sb unit 2 活動1的錄音，請學生看圖，再次**錄音，請學生跟讀，鼓勵學生模仿錄音的語音語調。
教師板書：there is a boy on the bike.
there are twelve boys on the bike.
結合所板書的句子，簡單講解there is和there are的不同用法（課文學習的過程詳細講解）。
剛才大家只看見lingling, amy and sam在看台上，咦怎麼看不見大明呢。哈哈，大明正在向大家展示他手機的一組動物**呢？ 他把這些**整理成乙份手抄報，正在向大家展示**的內容呢？
學完今天的課文後，同學們要為班級英語手抄報選擇**，誰的**會入選呢，讓我們拭目以待吧。
（三）課文學習text learning

引導學生關注is和are ,問學生為什麼有的句子中用is，而有的語句中用are,如果學生沒有觀察出，那麼給學生滲透is用於單數，表示有乙個，are用於複數，表示有多個，利用教室內的環境進行訓練。
there is…和there are…的區別是be的確定是根據其後面的名詞來而定的，there is後跟不可數名詞或可數名詞單數，例如：there is a cat . there are後跟可數名詞複數，例如：
there are two girls.

8.. **第三次錄音 ，學生跟讀。然後分組練習，進行分角色朗讀，選一組進行全班匯報。
（四） 訓練鞏固 practice
1.完成sb unit 2活動3.教師先帶領學生觀察第一幅**，引導學生對**進行介紹，然後學生兩人一組進行指圖說話，最後請幾組同學到教室前面進行展示。
2. 完成sb unit 2活動5.記憶遊戲，教師快速出示**，讓學生憑藉自己的記憶來說句子，運用本課學習的句型。
3. 完成sb unit 2活動4.教師先**歌詞內容，學生跟讀，同時注意數量的變化與there is… there are…的使用，然後**歌曲錄音 ，請學生逐句學唱。
全班學唱---小組練習---組內評比---全班展示，最後請學生跟伴奏唱。
4.練習：用is和are進行填空。
