一、warming-up
1.欣賞本課的chant，隨後教師展示學生製作的postcard。

二.呈現與匯入1.教新詞：fork / knife
由以上活動，引出新詞，進行單詞的拼讀，操練，並板書。
通過遊戲活動，小組比賽等活動為學生營造寬鬆、和諧的學習氛圍，激發學生學習
2.教師扮演成一位魔術師，拿乙個空箱子，先向學生展英語的興趣，鼓勵示一下，表示箱子是空的，而後拿著箱子在講台上轉一圈，學生大膽使用英並在箱子轉到講台的內側時，迅速的把東西塞進箱子裡，然後問學生：can you guess what i h**e got?
引導學生用：h**e you got ...提問。
第一次在箱子裡放1樣東西，第二次放2樣，教授句型：h**e you got ...or ...

語，為學生提供自我發展的空間
在上篇課文中，laura很想與sam和amy成為筆友，她還從darning那裡得到了amy和sam的通訊位址。今天，sam和amy真的收到了一張來自美國的明信片。沒錯．這張明信片就是laura寄來的。
讓我們一起看一看laura在明信片上寫了些什麼。
3三.學習課文
1.用錄音呈現sb活動1的內容。老師根據課文內容提出簡單的理解性問題，例如：
where is the postcard from?is the postcard from daming?what has daming got?
what has laura got?can laura use chopsticks?」。
2.再放錄音，幫助學生找到這些問題的答案。老師可以針對「daming has got a chinese kite」中的「chinese」和「h**e got」兩項內容進行重點教學。
老師可以出示中國傳統物品，以此解釋「chinese」,例如：中國風箏、中國結、中國旗袍、中國明信片等。老師一邊展示—也向學生解釋：
「we are from china. we are chinese. this kite isfrom china.
it』s a chinese knot. oh, that』s a chinese these are chinese postcard.」
3,講解句子「darning has got a chinese kite and we fly it inthe park.」用簡單的符號標明兩個句子之間的並列關係.老師講解句子「i』ve got some chopsticks, but they aredifficult.
」4.老師出示chant，學生邊聽邊看，熟悉韻詩的大致內容，小聲跟讀，跟著韻律拍手，表演動作。5.聽磁帶，看課文，模仿語音語調。四.練習鞏固

2.活動二：全班分為兩組，分別站在教室的兩邊。
教師分別發寫有問題和答案的小紙條。乙個學生讀出問題，站在教室另一邊的學生說出答案。兩人即可坐回自己的座位。
