本單元是乙個閱讀單元。重點學習水迴圈以及植物種植過程的表達，設計的內容比較抽象，教師要引導學生結合生活經驗理解掌握。本單元的內容相對比較複雜，特別是let』s read 部分容量大、難點多。
教師要注重多種

【教學目標】
1.能夠聽、說、讀、寫a let』s learn 部分的黑體單詞：stream, rain, cloud, sun, 聽說認讀白體單詞：vapour
2.能夠聽、說、認讀句子：where does the rain come from? 並在現實生活中能夠靈活運用，做到語音準確，語調自然。
3.能夠完成let』s find out的任務。
4.學唱歌曲《little water drop》.
5.了解水結成冰的相關知識。
【教學重難點】
1.熟練掌握重點單詞：stream, rain, cloud, sun, vapour。教師要啟發學生開動腦筋巧記單詞，並結合句型替換關鍵詞，在情景中學習新單詞。
2.能夠在現實生活中靈活運用句型： where does the rain come from？並在現實生活中能夠靈活運用，做到語音準確，語調自然。

【教學過程】
step 1:pre-paration
1.上課伊始，教師通過教學**資源給學生呈現英語童謠《little water drop》.讓學生靜靜地欣賞、感受。
2.教師走下講台，到學生中間做free talk.

step2: presentation:
1.教師對學生說：「we drink water every day.
we need water every day. what else needs water? where does the water come from?
」2.教師簡筆畫「雨」，並對學生說：「we are going to talk about rain.
where does it come from? does it come from the sky? 教師幫助學生回答it comes from the cloud.
」用簡筆畫出cloud的圖，將單詞板書並進行教授教讀。
3.教師用簡筆畫在原先的rain和cloud 下面畫stream,自然而然的引出stream,板書並教讀。並進行適當的拓展：
聽海，讓學生聽各種水的聲音，猜猜是什麼，複習sea, river,並比較stream, lake 和river的區別。
4.教師用簡筆畫在stream 上面畫sun ,教師誇張的描述太陽的火辣，引導學生想象溪水在太陽的照射下發熱變成vapour。
5.聽錄音，並跟讀
step3: practice:
1.教師找生抽詞卡，如抽到： cloud,下面學生就問：
cloud, cloud, where does the cloud come from? 上面學生回答：「it comes from the stream,依此類推，如果是stop,就換人重新開始。
2.教師把70頁「let』s find out」的教學掛圖呈現給學生，讓學生認真看圖，教師問：「what can you see in the picture?
」請一名學生示範回答：「i can see the stream.」然後學生五人一組找出圖中的景物，用英文表述出來，在這個過程中教師可以給學生滲透保護環境，愛護地球家園的意識。
step 4: production
1.教師把學生分成兩組和大家一起拍手說唱自編兒歌。

2.教師給學生呈現good to know 的教學掛圖，先讓學生認真看掛圖，然後教師結合掛圖給學生介紹水結成冰後體積變大的相關知識，鼓勵學生通過實驗的方法驗證自己的想法。教師也可以啟發學生思考水在自然界中的其他存在形式，
step 5:homework
1.讓學生熟練掌握本單元的重點單詞和句型。
2.讓學生自由結合組成小組，在班級內自由採訪，詢問生活中常見的東西**，最後看看誰懂得最多。

【教學內容】let』s try &let』s talk & group work
【教學目標】
1.能夠聽、說、讀、寫句子where does the rain come from? it comes from the clouds.
並在現實生活中能夠靈活運用，做到語音準確，語調自然。能替換運用於水迴圈的整個過程。
2.能夠完成task time 的內容。
【教學重難點】
1.熟練掌握let』s try部分的單詞，教師要啟發學生開動腦筋巧記單詞，並結合句型替換關鍵詞，在情景中學習新單詞。
2.能夠在現實生活中靈活運用句型： where does the rain come from？
it comes from the clouds.並在現實生活中能夠靈活運用，做到語音準確，語調自然。要求學生能替換關鍵詞造新句並能在水迴圈的整個過程自如運用。

3. 引導學生讀let』s talk部分對話。可以採取教讀、齊讀、男女生分角色、分小組等方式，大量的操練讓學生掌握本課時的對話內容。
step 4: production
1.拿出rain 的單詞卡片，貼在黑板上，問學生：「where does the rain come from？
」引導學生回答「it comes from the clouds.」然後，教師將cloud 的單詞卡片也貼在黑板上。用同樣的方法，在問答的過程中將其他三張卡片依次貼在黑板上，組成乙個水迴圈過程的簡易圖。
教師出示「group work」的教學掛圖。同桌之間根據單詞卡片的提示進行問答練習。
