(1) used to意為「過去常常；以前經常」，後接動詞原形，表示過去的習慣動作或狀態，
暗指現在此狀態不存在了或動作不發生了。

(2) used to的一般疑問句、附加疑問句常借助於助動詞did / didn』t, 也可用used /

8. require v. 需要； 需求
how much money do yourequire? 你需要多少錢?
herequiredto see my passport. 他要看我的護照。
the teacher requires that we must read english every morning.
老師要求我們每天早晨讀英語。
the house requires painting. 這房子需要刷漆。
requirement n. 要求；必要條件
ask, beg, demand, require, request均「要求，請求」之意。
ask最普通用詞，指向對方提出要求或請求，長、晚輩，上下級之間都可使用。
beg指懇切地或再三地請求或要求，常含低三下四意味，也多用於應酬場合。
require強調根據事業、需要或紀律、法律等而提出的要求。
request正式用詞, 指非常正式、有禮貌的請求或懇求, 多含擔心因種種原因對方不能答應的意味。

make it 在口語當中相當於 succeed，表示「成功、做到、說定、趕上、及時到達」
