學習there be句型應注意的幾點
一、there be結構中，主語如果是一系列事物，謂語動詞be的數一般與最臨近的主語保持一致。如：
1、there is a picture book，a pen and some apples on the desk . 桌子上有一本圖畫書，一支鋼筆和一些蘋果。
2、there are two boys and a girl under the tree.樹下有兩個男孩和乙個女孩。
二、there be結構變成否定句時，須在動詞be後加not或no。如：
1、there is a table in the room．房間裡有一張桌子。
there is not a table in the room．房間裡沒有桌子。
2、there are some children at the door．門口有幾個孩子。
there are no children at the door．門口沒有孩子。
三、變成一般疑問句時將動詞be放到there之前，句子其餘部分不變，回答時用yes／no+there+be的適當形式即可。如：
1、is there a table in the room? 房間裡有桌子嗎?
yes，there is．／no，there isn't．—是的，有。／不，沒有。
2、are there any children at the door? 門口有孩子嗎? 1
yes，there are．／no，there aren't．是的，有。／不，沒有。
四、對there be句型進行提問，老師們提醒同學們，一定要做到兩個「牢記」：
第一，對there be句型的主語進行提問，通常用"what is(there) + 介詞短語(或副詞)?」形式。主語無論是單數還是複數，be動詞通常都用is,回答時要根據實際情況而
定。例如：①there is a book on the desk.
——what's(there)on the desk?
——there is a book．
②there are some birds in the tree．
——what's in the tree?
——there are (there're) some birds．
第二，對there be句型的可數名詞（主語）前的數字進行提問，要用「how many」其句型是：「how many＋可數名詞複數（主語）十are there + 介詞短語(或副詞)?」無論主語是單數還是複數，動詞be通常要用are.
例如① there are five people in his family.
——how many people are there in his family?
——there are five．
②there is a bike under the tree．
——how many bikes are there under the tree?
there is only one．
