starter unit1- 3知識點彙總
一、 文化常識
1、 英語文化區域，熟人之間見面，常要互相問好。早上用語good morning !
下午用語good afternoon ! 晚上（下午5點之後，晚上九點以前）用語good evening ! 。
晚上九點以後要說「good night！ 晚安！」例如：
(1) bob: good morning , helen !
helen : good morning , bob !
(2) bob : good afternoon , helen !
helen : good afternoon , bob注意句子標點)
(3) bob : good evening , helen !
helen : good evening , bob !
2、在輕鬆場合中，人們常用hello 或者hi 打招呼，但是兩人用語要一致，
不能乙個人用hello，另乙個人用hi 。 例如：
（1） helen : hi , bob ! bob : hi , helen !
（2） helen : hello , bob ! bob : hello , helen !
二、幾個功能句型
1、問答「身體健康」用語
bob: hi, helen! how are you? 喂，海倫！你好嗎？
helen: hi, bob! i』m fine, thanks. how are you?
bob: i』m fine, too. 我也很好。
對方關心你的健康，你也要詢問對方的健康，而且一定要向對方說謝謝。
how are you? 可以用簡略語言：and you?
i』m fine = i』m ok= i』m well，表示「我很好！」
thanks = thank you! 謝謝！
2、問乙個東西的「英語名字」的常用句型
helen: what』s this / that in english? 這個∕那個用英語怎麼說？
答句中，一定用it 代替this / that)
bob: it』s a / an + 英語名稱 。
helen: spell it, please. 請拼寫它。（= how do you spell it ? 你怎樣拼寫它？）
bob: k- e-y.（拼寫單詞，用大寫字母，並且字母與字母之間用連字元連線）
3、問乙個東西顏色的常用句型：
helen: what color is it?
bob: it is + 顏色 。
三、1、不定冠詞 a 與 an 的區別
a用在子音開頭的單詞前，an用在母音開頭的單詞前。 例如
a pen 一支鋼筆an apple 乙個蘋果
a book 一本書an hour 一小時
a 「u」 乙個字母 「uan orange乙個橙子；；
四．指示代詞 this 與 that 的區別
this 指代近處的人或物，that指代遠處的人或物。
五． how do you do 與 how are you? 的區別
二者都有「你好」之意，但二者用法不同。表現在以下三個方面：
（1） 意義不同：how are you? 為疑問句，意為「你好嗎？」而「how do you do?」形式上是疑問句，但實際上並不是疑問句，意為「你好！」
（2） 使用場合不同：how are you? 用以詢問對方的身體健康狀況，它多用於朋友或熟人之間。
how do you do? 則用於初次見面的兩個人之間相互問好的問候語。
（3） 回答方式不同：回答how are you? 應用「i am fine, thanks.
and( how are) you? 」而回答「how do you do?」應用「how do you do?
」例如：
① —liu mei, this is kate. 劉梅，這是凱特。
—how do you do? 你好！
—how do you do? 你好！
② —hi! li lei, how are you? 喂，李雷，你好嗎?
—i』m fine,thanks. and you? 我很好，謝謝！你怎麼樣？
—i』m fine, too. 我也很好。
六．定冠詞the 的用法
the 是定冠詞，表示「這（個）， 那（個），這些，那些」，它可以用在名詞前，表示特指說話人雙方都知道的人或複述上文中提到的事物。例如：
the tv in his room is new. 他房間裡的那台電視機是新的。 （特指）
where is the teacher? 那個老師在哪？ （雙方都知道）
