一、表示有生命物的名詞的所有格
1.單數名詞詞尾加』s， 複數名詞如果詞尾沒有s，也要加』s。
the boy's bag男孩的書包
mike's knife邁克的刀子
the children's room孩子們的房間
men's room男廁所
2.若名詞已有複數詞尾s，只加 』
the students' bags學生們的書包
the teachers' reading-room教師閱覽室
3.表示幾個人共有一樣東西，只需在最後乙個人的名字後加's。如表示各自所有，則需在各個名字後加's。如：
this is tom and jason's room這是湯姆和傑森共有的房間。
these are tom's and jason's rooms. 這些是湯姆和傑森各自的房間。
二、.表示無生命物的名詞所有格
1、如果名詞是無生命的，我們就要用名詞+of +名詞的結構來表示所有關係。
the windows of the house房間的窗戶
the title of the song歌的名字
the picture of the family家庭**
2、在表示名詞所有格時，'s結構可以轉換成of結構。
the girl's name → the name of the girl女孩的名字
my father's friend →the friend of my father's 我父親的朋友
3、有些表示時間、距離、國家、城市、季節，太陽，月亮，大地，江河，海洋，船等無生命的東西的名詞，也可以加's來構成所有格。
beijing's street北京的街道
today's news*****今天的報紙
ten minutes' walk十分鐘的路程
有些名詞只有作複數。
